What We Do
some of our favorite projects throughout the years
Iris (formerly Iris Solutions) is a pioneer of sensory solutions and products from Palestine. We worked with them to rebrand Iris as they prepare to scale up to wider markets and to bring their products to more audiences. Iris is an innovator of technology and interaction, so we developed a dynamic, interactive and very vibrant identity and brand for them that could carry their spirit across all their communications and products.
MMA works to elevate African youth to create opportunities and solutions to community challenges by becoming community leaders and contributors to the structural transformation of African society. Based in Nigeria, and empowered by the diaspora across the world, we wanted to give MMA a brand that connects it to its culture and heritage but brings these influences into a modern appeal that matches the youth it talks to and respects their perspective of both their countries and the world at large.
The Center of Palestinian Narrative and Memory (CoPN) is a cultural space in Nablus that roots itself in the history of the area. Set in an old soap factory, it celebrates Palestinian people, their history and culture throughout history. Our main task was branding this center and utilizing technology to create a digital gallery system for them that connects their database of memories and stories, to help preserve them and make them accessible across the internet to a much wider audience.
Love4Immigrants (L4I) is a social movement, established by a team of immigrants from the USA who want to mobilize art and its healing power to connect immigrants and the communities that host them. L4I aims to help express the narrative of immigrants, their contribution to their societies and the roles they play in them. Branding L4I, we wanted to give them an identity that carries these stories and provides a framing to help connect them to their communities through social media, events and other outlets of collaborative creativity.
The MindLab in Jordan runs programs for children to complement their education with extra 21st century skills. The team at MindLab noticed some issues and gaps when working with the design thinking model with children, especially younger ages, due to limits in their ability to empathize and understand their relationship to the context. So they experimented with alterations to find a model that worked better with their sessions and audience, finally arriving at their Developmental Design Model. Which we helped them design in an interactive and story-led way to make it a child friendly and interactive gamified experience.
TropicalAlmond is a social venture, in the process of creating their main product -Tropical Almond Oil- they prioritize creating jobs for women from marginalized communities, planting and maintaining trees and optimize a zero waste process where the sub-products create breakfast cereal for children in the community. We helped them create their first brand and identity in a way inspired from the seed that powers this whole process. We wanted to give them a base with a lot of flexibility for growth, and their brand continues to evolve throughout the years.
The Valve is a design studio with a focus on social innovation, based in Jordan, and working all over the world.
